World Butchers Paris 2025
- SCOPE OF APPLICATION
These general terms and conditions of sale apply to :
– Any registration for an event within the framework of the World Butchers Challenge Paris 2025 (hereinafter referred to as “the Event”), namely :
- The welcome cocktail (March 27th, 2025)
- The Study Tour (From March 25th to 28th, 2025)
- The World Butchers Challenge (March 30th and 31st, 2025)
- The gala dinner at the Paradis Latin (April 1st, 2025)
– organized by the World Butchers Challenge Paris 2025 (WBC), non-profit organization constituted in accordance with the French law of 1901 concerning non-profit organizations

(hereinafter referred to as “the Organizer”)
– Avaible on the WBC Paris 2025 website (https://www.worldbutcherschallenge.com/buy-tickets), and the online ticketing website IMAGINA (https://imagina.com/fr/functionalities/event/ticketing).
- REGISTRATION
Online registration or physical registration for one or more events gives the status of “Client” and implies unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions.
The Client may be a natural or legal person with the legal capacity to contract.
When the Client is a natural person acting in the name and on behalf of a legal entity, the natural person guarantees that it is authorized to financially and legally bind the legal entity for which it is acting, this legal entity which will consequently be bound by these General terms and conditions. In this case, the term “Client” will apply to both the natural person and the legal entity, both being jointly and severally liable.
- DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT
The program of the Event, its dates, duration, location, prices and all other special conditions of the Event are indicated on the WBC Paris 2025 website.
Unless otherwise stated, and in application of these terms and conditions, only access to the Event and any Event materials are included in the offer. Participation in the Event is ordered for the number of people indicated on the registration form. Participation is nominative.
Participation in one of the various events is offered within the limit of available places. When all available places are sold, a mention is made on the WBC Paris 2025 website and on the IMAGINA ticketing website.
- TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR REGISTRATION FOR AN EVENT
4.1 Registration process
- a) The Client registers online by completing all the information requested in the registration form on the IMAGINA ticket office website.
The Client undertakes to provide accurate and complete information.
- b) By clicking on the “Validate” button at the end of the registration process, and after having checked the content of his order, the Client confirms his registration for the Event and declares that he fully and unreservedly accepts all of these general terms and conditions. The validation of his registration by the Client, even if not accompanied by payment, constitutes a firm and irrevocable commitment to order, implying the payment of the full price, in application of the provisions of articles 4.2 and 6.1 below.
c)Through its website, IMAGINA, mandated by the Organizer, then sends the Client, to the email address provided, a summary of their order, which serves as confirmation of registration.
d)The summons will be sent to the Client at the same time as the invoice corresponding to their registration, registration payable according to the deadlines and terms stipulated in Article 5 below.
4.2 Right of withdrawal
- a) The Professional Client benefits from a right of withdrawal under the conditions provided for in article L 221-3 of the french Consumer Code.
- b) When the Client is a consumer within the meaning of the preliminary article of the Legislative Part of the french Consumer Code, that is to say a natural person who acts for purposes that do not fall within the scope of his commercial, industrial, craft or liberal activity, he has, in accordance with the provisions of Article L 121-21 of the french Consumer Code, and except in the case expressly provided for below, a period of (14) days from his confirmation of registration to withdraw, without having to justify reasons or pay penalties. If the 14-day period expires on a Saturday, Sunday or french public holiday, it is extended until the next working day.
In the event of exercising the right of withdrawal, the Client must send the following withdrawal form to the Organizer within the time limit by letter (preferably registered with acknowledgment of receipt) to the following address :

The withdrawal period provided for above is not applicable if the Client has already participated in the Event before the withdrawal period expires or if he has voluntarily and in writing waived the exercise of his right of withdrawal when registering.
In the event of the right of withdrawal being exercised in accordance with the rules, the Organizer will reimburse the sums paid when ordering, by any means and within a period not exceeding 14 days from the date of exercise of the right of withdrawal.

- FINANCIAL CONDITIONS
5.1 Price
- a) The registration fees for the various events are indicated on the WBC Paris 2025 website and the IMAGINA ticketing website. The prices indicated includes VAT. With the exception of organizations subject to public accounting rules, the price must be paid in full at the same time as the online registration.
- b) The Organizer reserves the right to refuse access to the various events in the event of non-payment in full on the day of the event, with the exception of staff of organizations subject to public accounting rules.
- Payment terms
The Clients may pay the registration fees only by credit card or VISA, by entering the details and expiry date of their credit card. The data are encrypted during their transmission, which guarantees the secure circulation of this information.
Once the online payment has been made and approved by the bank, the Client will receive a confirmation by email with all the data recorded concerning their order as well as a file number which must be kept.
Any incident, late payment or any amount remaining due for an event organized by the Organizer automatically results in the prohibition of participation in any other event without prior notice from the Organizer and until full payment.
- CANCELLATION – REPLACEMENT
6.1 Cancellation requests from the Client must be sent in writing to the following address:

no later than February 27, 2025, the postmark serving as proof of the cancellation date.
In this case, the registration amount will be fully refunded, less a lump sum equal to 50% of the total amount of the order, for administration costs.
For any cancellation not respecting these conditions, except in cases of force majeure as defined by article 1218 of the french Civil Code and upon presentation of proof, the full amount of the registration fees will remain due to the Organizer as a fixed and final compensation.
Furthermore, non-participation in an event is considered to be a late cancellation and will not give rise to any reimbursement.
The right of withdrawal carried out in accordance with the provisions of article 4.2 above is not equivalent to a cancellation.
6.2 The Organizer may be required to cancel one or more events due to force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the Civil Code. In such a case, the Organizer will reimburse the Client for all amounts already paid. The Client may not claim whatsoever any compensation for this cancellation.
6.3 In the event that the Organizer is required to cancel the participation of a Client on the grounds that the Client is a national of a state, a member of an organization or directly or indirectly targeted by restrictive measures and sanctions implemented by the United Nations, the European Union and its member states, the United States, the United Kingdom and, the Organizer will reimburse the Client for all sums already paid. The Client will not be able to claim any compensation as a result of this cancellation for any reason whatsoever.
- ACCESS CONDITIONS TO THE EVENT
On the day of the event, the Clients must go to the event reception to obtain their access badges upon presentation of an identity document. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse access to the event in case of non-payment in full on the day of the event, with the exception of staff of organizations subject to public accounting rules.
The Organizer guarantees the Client access to the event organized at the competition venue on March 30th and 31st, 2025, but only guarantees access to the tiered seating within the limit of available places.
- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The brands, names, graphics, etc. appearing on the WBC Paris 2025 website are the property of the Organizer and its partners. Any total or partial reproduction of these elements without the express authorization of the Organizer and its partners is strictly prohibited.
The documents and presentation materials provided to the Client during the Event are the sole property of the Organizer. These are intended for the Client’s personal use and for their own needs exclusively. Their delivery during the Event does not entail any right of reproduction or distribution to third parties, in particular via an intranet or a website.
- PERSONAL DATA
The data concerning the representatives and collaborators (identity and professional contact details) of the Parties involved in the conclusion and execution of the Contract are processed by the Parties for the purposes of execution of the Contract (invoicing, notifications, archiving, etc.) as independent data controllers.
The legal basis for these treatments is the execution of the Contract and the data thus processed are kept for the following maximum duration : duration of the Contract increased by the applicable legal retention periods.
The Client’s representatives and employees may exercise the rights they hold with regard to the above processing at the following address: dpo@boucherie-france.org or by written request addressed to CFBCT – Attention: DPO – 98 boulevard Pereire – 75850 PARIS.
Namely, in accordance with the legal regulations, they can access their data or request their deletion. They also have a right of rectification, a right to limit the processing of their data, a right to portability and the right to define guidelines regarding the fate of their personal data after their death.
The following may be recipients of the Client’s personal data: authorized staff of the CFBCT as well as authorized staff of service providers and/or partners that the CFBCT may call upon for the execution of the Contract, and with whom contractual clauses compliant with the GDPR are signed.
None of the Client’s data is transferred outside the European Union.
Personal information is collected by the Organizer as part of the Client’s registration for the Event in order to process the Client’s registration and participation in the event and is recorded in the Organizer’s Client file.
Provided that the Client does not object, the Organizer may use this information on its behalf and on behalf of its members in order to send registrants proposals to participate in professional events or for products and/or services useful to their professional activity as well as to include them in professional directories. These data processing are carried out on the basis of the legitimate interest in promoting the products and services of the Organizer and its members.
For these data processing, Clients have the right to object at any time. The Organizer undertakes to always offer the Client a simple way to object to receiving new requests. They can also access their data or request their deletion and have a right of rectification, a right to limit the processing of their data, a right to portability and the right to define guidelines regarding the fate of their personal data after their death.

Any request must specify the reason for the request. If the Client considers, after having contacted the CFBCT or the Organizer, that his/her Data Protection rights have not been respected, the Client may submit a complaint online, directly on the CNIL Website to the CNIL or by post to: CNIL – 3 Place de Fontenoy – TSA 80715 – 75334 PARIS CEDEX 07.
- PROBITY AND TRANSPARENCY
10.1 Each Party declares to conduct its activities with honesty, integrity, reliability and responsibility and intends that any natural or legal person in relation with it adheres to the same values.
Consequently, each of the Parties and any third party acting on its behalf undertakes, within the framework of the Contract, to strictly comply with the laws and regulations in full force and effect relating to the fight against corruption.
In particular, each of them undertakes under the Contract not to, directly or indirectly, propose, grant, solicit or receive from a third party an undue advantage with a view to performing, delaying or omitting to perform an act falling within its functions within the framework of the execution of the Contract, nor to abuse its real or supposed influence over a third party in order to obtain from this third party an advantage in favor of the other Party.
Each Party also undertakes to provide the other with any assistance that may be necessary to respond to a request from a duly authorized authority relating to the fight against corruption and influence peddling.
Each Party also guarantees to the other Party that no sum (including, fees, commissions or any other undue pecuniary advantage) or any object of value (including, but not limited to, inappropriate gifts, travel, meals or entertainment) has been or will be given, directly or indirectly, to an employee, director or corporate officer of the other Party for the purpose of obtaining the signature of this Agreement, a Purchase Order and/or facilitating its execution or renewal.
10.2 Each Party garantees that neither it nor any third party acting on its behalf (i) is subject to Economic Sanctions (ii) is owned or controlled, directly or indirectly, by an entity or person subject to Economic Sanctions and (iii) is registered, located or resident in a country or territory subject to Economic Sanctions.
10.3 Any breach by one of the Parties of the provisions of this article shall be deemed to constitute a substantial breach justifying the termination of the Contract automatically, without legal formalities and without notice, without prejudice to compensation by the Party at fault for the damage caused to the other Party as a result of this breach.
This termination will be notified by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt notifying the breach and the termination of the contract; it will take effect upon the first presentation of said letter. Each Party undertakes to inform the other Party as soon as possible from the date of signature hereof, of any event that would contradict the declarations and guarantees defined in this article.
- MISCELLANEOUS
11.1 The Event program is designed by the Organizer with the greatest possible care and accuracy. However, the Organizer reserves the right to modify the program, location, date and duration if circumstances require it, without the Client being able to claim any compensation for this.
11.2 In the event that any of the terms of these general terms and conditions are considered illegal or unenforceable by a court decision, the other provisions will remain in full force and effect.
- APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES
These General terms and conditions, as well as registrations, are subject to French law.
Any claim must, under penalty of forfeiture, be made by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt addressed to the Organizer within 12 months following the event in question.
In the event of a dispute between professionals relating to the formation, interpretation, execution or termination of this contract, the competent courts of Paris shall have sole jurisdiction.
This clause alone shall be applicable, even in the event of any procedure existing in French law, appeal on warranty, or multiple defendants.
In disputes with Clients qualified as consumers within the meaning of the french Consumer Code, the rules of common law are applicable.
