Saint-Germain-des-Prés: A Gourmet and Cultural Walk

Explore the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district on a guided tour and taste different culinary specialties at local artisans!

You will meet your guide in front of the Saint Germain-des-Prés church before starting a tour of the district in a small group.
Throughout your visit, you will enjoy the many anecdotes and commentaries from your guide, historical, cultural, and gastronomic.
Your first stop will be in an artisanal jam shop where you will put your senses to the test by carrying out a “blind test”. You will taste several jars and try to guess the flavors, sometimes atypical of certain jams.

You will continue your itinerary by the Cours du Commerce Saint-André, still accompanied by your guide, who will take you this time to an olive oil shop to discover the flavors of Provence.

You will then go to a pastry chef titled “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” where you can choose a pastry to taste as well as two squares of chocolate.
You will continue this culinary experience by discovering a restaurant in which you will share a dish (variable according to the menu of the day and availability) accompanied by a glass of wine.
You will end the guided tour with a tasting of cheeses from the South-East of France in a typical Parisian cheese cellar (3-hour tour option – with supplement).

You will enjoy a total of 4 stops if you select the 2-hour tour, all at the best artisans in the neighborhood.
Throughout this discovery of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, you will taste local products from short circuits, in an approach of sustainable tourism and promotion of French know-how.
